“We Need to Make the Applicant Move Forward” — Marty Pfleger, Lawyer for Holmdel Zoning Board

At 16:23 seconds into the Holmdel Zoning Board's hearing on the KIP 20 LLC completeness waiver — that's the procedure where they get to ignore the planning regulations that define what a "complete" application is — Marty Pfleger, counsel for Holmdel Zoning Board, states:

"We need to make the application move forward"

as part of his lobbying for the board to deem the application to pave over 5 acres of farmland as "complete" by accepting an out of date LOI from 2007, that expired in 2012, was prepared before the DEP updated their wetlands maps and many years before Holmdel updated it's master plan!

No, Mr. Pfleger, you work for Holmdel Township and your job is to represent the people of Holmdel in the planning process not to make things convenient for developers who want to turn the Gateway to Holmdel into a Strip Mall. You can do that by ensuring that the Zoning Board's rules are followed by everybody involved in the process. That’s your job, your one job!
