Massive Changes to Red Hill Road would be Required by KIP 20's Application

Recently discovered, this response to application to the Monmouth County Development Review Committee: Planning Board regarding the KIP 20 proposal to pave over three acres, more or more accurately 3.4 acres it would appear, of farmland for an unasked for strip mall development.

The full document is on our website at https://www.holmdelhoophouse.org/documents, but take a look at item #2 of the response from the County... it states that the development will require the widening of Red Hill Road to 40 feet including a 25 foot "corner arc," which I assume is more commonly known as a "yield lane" for the Garden State Parkway exit.

Also of interest is item 16, where the County points out that a 30 square foot impervious area has been modeled for rainwater runoff as 100 square feet of dense grass. That's quite a difference when the rain is falling hard!

Please join us in resisting this audacious proposal to utterly ruin the Gateway to Holmdel in a manner totally inconsistent with the 2020 Master Plan.
